Christian Classics Ethereal Library
This site hosts thousands of classic Christian texts in several electronic formats (HTML, pdf, and more). It covers the whole history of Christianity (from Early Church Fathers to C. S. Lewis and mostly everyone in between, e.g. Luther, William Law, Richard Hooker, the Wesleys). You will find here several English translations of the Bible (searchable), sermons, meditations, musical settings, historical and archeological notes. In addition to the majority of English texts, select texts in Russian and Chinese have been added recently.
The unhistorical are usually, without knowing it, enslaved to a fairly recent past.
